Today i started a little collage journal type thingy. I just cut out a bunch of pictures and then added lyrics from 'age of the understatement'. Cutting out words letter by letter take SO long..

Today i went downtown and to the U district with kara! I bought some new mittens and some sweeet pins for my coat. Also we got delicious donuts at pike place from that neat old donut machine.

--also we went in american apparel..that place reminds me of a costume store 0_0




PS. Today i saw the cutest fish in the nordstroms aquarium. It was swimming really fast through bubbles. It made me immeasurably happy. It was the best fish i've ever seen in my life. i was sad that i did not have my camera, i would have filmed the little fellow.

This little bird was outside my window yesterday! It reminded me of my favorite christmas book, the christmas robin, which was about a little bird who built a nest out of tinsle.

Christmas cookie party today! not alot of people could come because of the snow, but the 6 of us ate cookies, played janga, apples to apples, and went sledding and inner-tubing!!! Super fun!

I like to collect fancy labels from clothes, ticket stubs, and pictures i print in the darkroom that dont totally work and put them on my bulletin board. I think it has a nice eclectic feel.

Today is the day of our families annual jello smack down. Its a competition amongst our families to see who can create the best jello. We won last year and we're hoping to keep the trophy in our hands, i'll know soon, but for now happy thanksgiving!

Today my cameras batteries are dead so im posting one of my favorite pictures from this summer. Every year i go visit my cousins at their cabin on Orcas island. I took the picture through the window of a ferry I took home (all by myself! scary!) Make sure to see it full size, the detail in the clouds is pretty superb, at least i think it is.

Day One 1/365

Today my friend showed me a blog she's started where she takes a picture every day. I thought that was a pretty spiff idea so i've decided to do it as well. For the 365 days i'll be looking through the eyes of my camera, hope you enjoy the ride.
